BUG: Missing Bounties

I had a look on the forums and could not see anything relating to this topic, nor could I see a specific area to post a bug report.

I've been playing since Beta 3 and think I am reasonably acquainted with how bounty hunting works. Last kill gets said bounty then you go to a system of the faction that issued it to claim it in a station. The problem is however over the last 24 hours this has become problematic not just for me but other players in my group.

We kill an NPC with a bounty and get the usual bounty message at the top right as expected however upon checking our transaction menu the bounty does not appear. It seems to be the bigger bounties as small 2-5k ones seems to work fine but several higher bounties over that figure dont appear. When we fly back to the station they don't appear there either.

Are we missing something? Have they changed the way bounties work? I've raised a support ticket but wanted to get other peoples thoughts on it just incase it was us doing something wrong.

Hello there. I think I found a solution to this, everytime there is a patch somehow my KWS gets affected and wouldn't give me the bounties. Therefore, you have to sell your KWS scanner in the nearest station and get a new one from the outfitting menu. Please let me know if that helped :cool:

Thanks for the tip but we are not packing a KWS. I used to but more often than not I forgot to use it so ditched it. That and I don't really understand what it is meant to do.

Since the OP I have seen another post pertaining to this issue. It seems to be fairly rare judging by the amount of people who have posted. As I say in my groups case we seem to encounter the issue with large bounties.

Edit: Check if anyone is using a cargo scanner? They should drop it proly. Then you can get KWS back on.
