Bug Not On Issue Tracker or is it me?

So I have this thing where I play a mixture of Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo and despite the new Africa Pack sometimes I might not see an animal for an absolute eternity because I am just designing or maybe I went to Planet Coaster for a week....

After a great many hours of that I decided to finally take a look at some of the new Africa animals and, whilst the Keeper Gate wants to go in place, the path instantly was not placeable, terrain doesn't allow. But it's a perfectly flat piece of terrain.

I didn't want to ruin a design so started a new zoo for my grandchildren today whilst showing them the game. Imagine my disappointment on their behalf when exactly the same thing happened from a simple Entrance+1path+1habitat demo. They didn't see the animals because in a new zoo with one path + trade centre + staff, the terrain was not suitable for the auto path that extends from the gate.I don't seem to be able to connect habitats to paths.

Frontier does not have have to answer directly of course that's why we have Issue Tracker, I just wondered if anybody was having similar?

Have you turned off the "flatten terrain" option while laying paths? It's a really finnicky toggle that is only really useful for bridging gaps or creating slopes, but should otherwise be turned off for flat areas of terrain.

Yes indeed, I use the Flatten Terrain option on and off regularly for pathing and I'm an experienced player so where Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo do have 1 or 2 very minor things that are so easily forgiven, I don't think I would make a noob mistake on this point. It is litterally a case of everytyhing works but as soon as I put a habitat gate in the auto path from it appears red and unplaceable so you can't then click to place the gate.

This is particularly annoying as I said, because I spent the last month designing and now can't seem to place any aminals.

I know it's a point for Issue Tracker really and I will but I wanted to check first because in my mind yes I am doing something wrong, can't see how though, I've placed a thousand habitat gates since the release date of the game.

I don't want to report the issue and have the much loved team dashing about for nothing but honestly, I am fairly sure I am not doing anything wrong so before I report it I just wanted to check if anybody found the same thing and how did you fix it x
