As title, the age old Empire Faction rank grind between Hickam and Mies Van is effectively dead with the mission boards being propagated instead by cargo delivery/source missions to player built facilities.
Was this intended or a side effect of the Trailblazers update?

Intended as in "We need to do something about the Empire Rank META! - I know, let's do Trailblazers!" - probably not. A sideeffect: Of course. That rank grind loop worked because there were no other mission targets in range. Now there are.

It's not a bug LMAO, what makes you think its a bug? It's a side effect of local colonies being a valid target for the delivery, doubt Fdev will step in considering it doesn't eliminate Imp rank up

For others looking for a quick way, just run the missions that you can and bring plenty of credits. I donated my way from baron to marquis in a couple hours

That was also the old way, way back in time. Find an imp system that is pretty much out of the way so it has only very few to no cargo missions, and bribe your way up the ladder. Inbetween, during the Thargoid war, a good way to rank up were passenger evacuation missions. Times (and the Galaxy) are changing, on multiple time scales, and so are the "get rich quick" schemes.
