bug or not that is the ?

I took up some surface scan missions, 4 in total. a good price for completing them, ranging from .5 and 2m cr. so off I went to my first system, scanned NB, located the planet and headed out there. located point of interest, landed and scanned the object. I didn't notice this when I picked them up, but I did when I finished the scan. all four missions completed. the missions were from the same faction and at the same station, an collected at the same time.

Only four? ;) You nab up to twenty if you head down to the systems around Maia, and it's a commonly used way to grind ranking rep.

This is just a different form of the "stacking massacre missions" bug though.

EDIT: It's kinda cute when the missions are all to the same planet. They'll all literally spawn on top of each other, making some very weird and bgugy looking bases (Turrets firing at you from inside structures, so you can't shoot back at them), and 100t of biowaste lying around.

This is the same 'bug' as the kill skimmers bug... Presumably not fixed.

It's not that the scans are from the same faction, but that they are to perform scans in the same system, and a single scan counts against all the missions, thus all missions complete after a single scan. If they were to do a scan in different systems, then that is something different that I certainly haven't come across, and worth a bug report.

There's a bit of stackable missions in this game.
I figure they've got some code optimization that would either have a traffic overhead or would be subject to breaking if they were particular about mission resources. Like if each mission has to have its own resources, then they have to cue them.
There's a video by Dav Stott that all the BGS addicts watch, and one of the things he said is that it is top priority that players get credited for their transactions.

If they had failures it's worse than lettting folks get ahead faster when they discover missions stack.
