Bug or not?

Im not sure if this is a bug, so i will ask here before i post it on the bugs forum.

At the right part of the screen are 2 rides. Peeps ride the ride without problem.
But on the left part of the screen i have a building with 1 shop inside and 1 shop on the outside (which you can see).

I have waited for a few days now (in game) but both the shops have had 0 visitors. The guest just bounce around the park entrance and the 2 rides but never ever will the go inside the building or go get a drink.

I have build shops before but they were always in the "middle" of the park, and those worked fine.

Is it a bug that people won't visit my shops? Or is there a reason?

Was just testing around....

I added another shop and people ARE visiting the new one!
I can't figure out why peeps aren't visiting my other shops? As you can see, the path's are properly connected (im sure, i checked).

The shops are part of a structure however. Did anyone else build facilities as part of a structure and managed to attract peeps?

Another update...

I deleted the shop as part of the structure and added it as a separate shop, suddenly all the peeps are coming!
With this the issue seems solved but can anyone confirm peeps wont visit shops that are part of a structure?

If so, i will post it on the bugs forum but i just want to be sure im not doing something wrong.

Guests definitely come to shops that are part of structures.

But, I've have the same problem with some of my facilities in buildings as well. I haven't had much time to try different troubleshooting steps to see if I can narrow down what conditions might be causing it though.

Update...

I played with it some more and found that anytime I moved the building, the facility would no longer work. The fix was to go into building edit mode and remove the facility and then put a new one back in. That would "turn it on" again.

This might be a glitch related to elements of the simulation that aren't done yet surrounding turning those shops or bathrooms on or off. It might be that when you place the building they start off as "off" but there's no way to turn them back on.

I did some more testing as well and it's the same case over here.

Guess it's worth reporting as a bug then. Thanks for confirming!!

Vampiro, I noticed that your shops are not actually attached to the paths and I think that is the reason why you are not getting customers [yesnod]

they are, on the 1st pic you can see the border of the path broken up at the shop, so i thing they are attached. but maybe its just me being stupid :p

I once heared that if you design a building with shops in it and then replace the building, peeps don't visit the shops anymore. Deleting the shops and adding them again should resolve this. Hope this helps.

No you are right, they are 100% connected. I have tried several times "offscreen" as well ;)

And as Kevin states, it pretty much confirmed shops don't work anymore when you move them around after placing them. That is untill you re-open your park. It has also been reported as a bug on the bug forums.

Still stank you for contributing :)

i create all my buildings far from the roads then move them that they can connect, and my shops always got customers fine...

Maybe it has something to do with an Open/Closed button, which is not in the game yet for shops. They may be automatically set to Open for the time being, when you first place them, I don't know.

Could be ..

something like it automatically opens when placed, but closes when i move and doesn't open again after relocating ....

Anyway i have put it on the bug forum a while ago so i guess they will be looking into it [happy]

HELP!. I can't build any coasters. The four options on the end of the track and the coaster edit tab just don't appear. I can only build in a straight line.
