Bug or user error?

I am going to assume user error......but

Got into station for docking etc.

Went and brought up the 'playstation' menu on the HOTOS and it shows 'hat down' as the landing gear function. Nothing..... I tried all the other hat functions, no issues. It will not activate the landing gear deployment.

When I took off on the mission I could retract the landing gear. So I know (assume) that the physical button works.

When I get very close to the landing pad the 'landing radar' appears etc.

Anyone got any ideas on this issue?

Sounds like a button binding error.

But i think someone with a ps4 himself can help you better..

I had that problem in the training mode, drove me crazy. I swithed to solo, and now it works as designed.

Sounds like a button binding error.

But i think someone with a ps4 himself can help you better..
