Bug: orbiting planet in Artemis suit glitch

This is my first post here and I hope it's in the correct place.

I'm in a bit of a jam and I think it's a glitch that I seem to be completely stuck in. I was on foot investigating a possible plant that I saw right next to a hot spring jet. When I got close enough to scan, I was shot out of the planet's atmosphere and I am now in orbit...In just my Artemis suit.. Exiting the game hasn't helped haha.. I don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😆

the stuck recovery in main menu will get you back to ship.

Here's some imagery and planet info for the curious.. Stay away from those high pressure jets of water or whatever the heck it was. A great way to ruin a good exobiology run 🤠

Hahahah oh man that's awesome! Weeeeee! Thanks for the sharing those pics.

I was thinking about the data loss yesterday when I read your post, you're a good sport. I member my first time on a planet in an SRV and I saw a geyser, I was like- ooo go park right on top of that and see what it does... I didn't make orbit but could definitely see my house from there! :)

Lol, I'm glad you liked the post. Yea, I lost a few first footfalls of data..unfortunate but such is life haha 🤙🤙
