Bug Report regarding the current Nvidia drivers and screen locking up

I recently had to roll back to the previous driver for my Nvidia EVGA GTX 1070. I used to be able to alt tab to chrome, or discord without any issue, but as soon as the new driver was installed I started getting major screen freezes. The game was still running. I could throttle up and here the throttle increase. I just couldn't see it. Everytime I this happened I had to reset my PC. After making sure all my GPU, MSI settings were on default, I finally rolled back the driver and that fixed the problem.
