When I bought my second weapon, a mining laser, I headed for the asteroids.
however it was very confusing and I did not succeed at mining anything.
I had a pulse laser, and a mining laser. when I fired the pulse laser, it sent out a steady beam, which I thought was odd because a pulse laser should send out pulses.
the mining laser sent out pulses. when I used the mining laser, it looked like small white particles reflecting off the asteroid, and nothing ever happened.
when I shot with the pulse laser, it shot a fixed beam, and the asteroid changed to a bright orange color where the laser hit.
eventually I figured out that somehow the lasers were swapped. it is a bug. I do not know how to recreate it.
