Today I submitted the same bug that I submitted to Frontiers QA department on the 25th of April 2019.
The status of my old bug is still in the confirming stage despite the visual evidence supplied over two months ago.
So, today I submitted another similar report in the hope that maybe someone at Frontier can help me with my issue.
The graphical bug is a real immersion breaker in VR when the central galactic bulge becomes more visible.
In the mean time I have been confined to living my Elite VR gaming sessions close to the central galactic axis so that the clouds of interstellar dust help to hide it from view.
I would of at least expected someone there to take a look at it, but even that doesn't seem to have happened.
I am getting rather frustrated with Frontiers QA department and bug reporting services.
At least with the old ticketing system you would get a reply after 48-72 hours.
The error can be seen below as a line that permeates through the central horizontal axis of the milky way background render.
