I'm really enjoying Elite Dangerous - thanks for an awesome game.
Unfortunately my experience is being ruined by a bug. I accidentally hit a security ship whilst bounty hunting, I get my own bounty - fair enough. I go to a local outpost and use contact to pay of the federation bounty. I then go to collect my bounty and out of nowhere my bounty is back and I'm wanted - having done nothing but supercruise. I return to the outpost to pay the bounty off again and now it doesn't show up under contact. No idea what to do.
Anyone had this?

You forget that you maybe picked up cargo in a USS for example. Or its a bug, and in that case its best to ticket it so the devs really get it. But check all possible things first like stolen cargo onboard or a mission that has run out that you forgot about. Or maybe getting a fine while in the station paying off your fine because you loitered over a pad for a second. Right now its just a small red text coming up. Would be neat with the ships voice or stations voice calling out a warning. Those fines for loitering can come fast.
