Bugged ring?

Found this just now. As you can see the B ring has an inner radius of almost 600,000km...and the outer is 2.34mil km....

Here's a shot of the planet itself.

I've been searching for the B ring for almost 15 minutes....with no luck. By my calculations it should begind at around 2Ls. Anyone seen anything like this? Is that just a bug on the system map? Am I seeing two rings on this picture?

I have seen invisible rings before, even invisible rings with RES. when you exit at those RES there's just nothing there so probably bug.

I have seen many rings which are barely visible and some were invisible at all. When i return from DW i plan a dedicated mission to study some of these.
My current theory is that those rings are really thin and dim. Here is a good example. You can see that the outer ring is MUCH bigger than the inner but barely visible

By "invisible" you mean non-existent...right?

no i mean like really invisible. Probably a ring generated with zero object density so there is actually nothing there but its still supposed to be a ring.
funny enough, if you exit SC at an RES in such a ring there will be no ships, neither pirate nor miners nor security no matter how long you wait for them. it's as if they know there is nothing to find there.

Those are some impressive screenshots!

Checked it again yesterday. I'm 100% sure the ring wasn't there...I would have collided with it if it was.
Didn't think about using the start to "scan" the area, but it's too late now. Left the system behind, and since it was in the middle of the abyss, I'm not turning back :p

Here i got a screenshot of what a B-Type can do for you illumination wise, but of course these rings were perfectly visible in the first place:
