Powerplay Bugged system flipping rollback: are you going to take into account all our work or wipe that out?

Word has it that FD will be rolling back the BGS to reverse the 1% bug damage. I hope they sort the underlying problem, but also preserve all he hard work players put in too. Literally the whole of Utopia was flipping systems for two full cycles, and it would be a kick in the teeth if all this was for nothing.

Please FD, look at systems on a case by case basis! You could be potentially throwing away hundreds of hours of hard graft and turning people away from Powerplay.

Chatter is that they are to pre 1.4 times. But it is just chatter at the minute- I just wish Sandro would pop up and explain what is being fiddled to put fears to rest. Utopia is a small group, and chucking all that work away would be annoying.

Did the Utopia-players use the bug to their advantage, and now don't want it changed back? Or did I misunderstand it?

It's my understanding that control systems were showing up as 1% and this was causing the generation of wars and such. However, the effort from Utopia was in flipping the systems initially (much of that effort started before 1.4). So no. It's not about trying to keep exploited effort. It's simply a request to apply the player contributions to the pre-bugged behavior and let the chips fall as they may had they not been bugged, rather than wipe all the effort from having ever happened.

No, we did a load of system flipping way before this started, and then found out about ten systems started falling back to 1% for no reason.

We never used any bug. For proof look on our Reddit and see our efforts.

There's a LOT of systems that have had a faction reduced to 1% across the bubble.

I know there's a lot of work that will be wiped if every system where this has happened gets reset to pre 1.4.

But I can't see them spending the time to look at the history of EACH system and figure out what a reasonable current status should be.

So my question: What would you prefer?
On Thursday: A patch that resets to pre-1.4
or
In two or three weeks: A Patch that represents a best guess as to what it should be.

To my mind, I want them to fix it ASAP and we can all get back to work.
Even if that means rolling back.

Otherwise you have to stop BGS operations and wait until the case by case fix.
Or keep conducting operations blindly in the hope that maybe what you are doing might count.

Its a dilemma, and one that would be a real kick in the teeth for the smallest group in Powerplay who flipped about 40% of systems they control.

My head says you are right, and the most efficent way would to fix the issue and roll back, but my heart just dies thinking of the hundreds of hours up in smoke. We will do it all again as we always do, but for once it would be nice that FD actually helped us.

They couldn't have, since systems don't even flip since 1.4.

And sadly it seems they will continue doing so since FD wants all the BGS fixed to come in a bundle...
