So this is my experience after the carriers came out and I wanted to make a thread that is a bit more centralized than just scattered reports from different commanders all over the forums. If you have a similar experience or different bug let it be know down below.
1. The chatter from station is no more; I hear the background sounds of the comms chatter but not the operator that usually greets me with the mandatory ˝Ask for docking permissions˝ and ˝Restore you heat signature commander˝ ect. Not a big deal but I miss my operator telling me she would like to see me hot.
2. The mission priority messages are all over the place; When I am in the system that should have my mission objective, even after I scan the nav beacon I don't get a massage for my mission on the other hand I get massages for missions that I have not even taken or just the notification for a mission in my area but nothing shows up as it can't, because I have no mission at the given time. Not a big deal as you can get the information on your galaxy map and in the system map but it makes it easier to manage and especially useful if so meatheat is pursuing you for picking up that, black box or military data that as if has all of his gay and incest p**n on it and he is not ready to come out of the closet yet.
3. Had my first crash of the game, ever; was not doing anything out of the ordinary, you know just dropping into a mission that I have NOT shined on for and was given to me randomly, all the NPCs were still as a space rock, and I was about to shoot my one medium beam laser from my Imperial Eagle at a Fed er Lancer (never said I was a smart CMDR
) And then the game crashes and after the second try to long in (The first one was not a success) all my missions were gone and I had some modular damage but not hull damage XD. In retrospect the nonmoving NPCs should have been a clear sign that something is amiss in this whole thing but it happens from time to time on those mission that you help a convoy to survive an ambush so I said ˝Let's see what happens ...˝ It crashed that what happened .
Now this is not a rant nor do I want to instigate one or any anger in any one, I understand that when new contact comes out and when you add programing code to an already existing one all hell is probably going to let loose but I would like to play my Elite Space Sim and travel at several times the speed of light without the timedialton effect that would occur and bask in the beauty that is our Milky way as soon as humanly possible.
