Hi, My doubt is if in the future will have planned any system in which we can build ships of game from the mining with design plans? Something similar to Eve Online

Maybe they'll add player crafted ships with an expansion. It won't be in the first release. I like it, because it lets players use their mined resources.

I doubt very much that such a thing would ever happen. We'd be more likely to see player-built and owned outposts than player-built ships, and the outposts idea is itself unlikely.

Player owned bases are in the pipeline.

I don't think player-designs are going to be in the game.

But, I think they will expand the customization options for each ship frame.

Character or ship customization features are just fun and makes a lot of business sense.

Come on, who wouldn't want to try to pimp out their 'space cow' into an 'iron ass' or transform it into a 'space bull' set for ramming speed.
