Do you have enough resource points to construct (e.g. only got a yellow point but trying to construct tier 3). Or you already have the maximum number of in-progress constructions. If a relog doesn't sort it, name the system and someone may be able to help
How do mate yeah have three tier two points and nine tier three points plus two constructions available. Have now tried placing a ground settle ment says the same thing no matter what I select invalid location. System is Tucanae sector te-p b6-1 relogged no difference. Guess this strike is gonna go on for a while may have to offer them a pay rise and more paid holidays
Do have an orbital construction site that is lingering plus one faction is in election don't know if that could upset the workers \o/
I'm not in game now but looks like a lot built. Inara has this, not sure I have it right as that shows 6 active when last updated

For ground settlements they need to be 200km+ from any other ground site and I find moving the mouse alternates between valid sites and invalid location for no reason I can see

Cheers for rep can't sleep so replying The Mineralogic base is complete as is Avelines has been for some while hibberds slumber recent completion the analysis facility was completed months ago. Inara has been regularly updating so not sure why it ain't caught up. Just tried again got the same invalid location on a planet that has no builds on it. Same story with orbitals am going to finish the bar see if that jigs it into life only needs beer bit like me cheers again for rep o7 will try out your suggestion fingers crossed
