Building block size (the 4x4x4m grid)

Hi,

I'm more a builder than a player and I prefer some realism in my builds. But I'm struggling with this issue a bit.

As you know, the grid is 4x4x4m (in metric)

So for example a small zookeeper kitchen is 4 by 4 meters wide. Which is kinda spacious, but ok. But also 4m high!! Where in the ????? has anyone seen that on the regular? (Most standard buildings are at most 3m high and that's on the high end of the spectrum).
Shops are the same, but there we have the option of using the countertop-version, so yey!

The walkthrough exhibit is even more of a "thing" it's 12 meters by 16 meters by 8 high (correct me if I'm wrong, because I don't have the game open). With a 4 meter wide straight path. Talk about HUGE.
The exhibits too: 4by4by4 meter terrariums especially cubic ones really aren't the norm in zoo's.

And the paths themselves, 4m minimun witdh...

I'm having real issues building normal looking structures. Especially with the provided doors and windows which look really strange against the 4m high canvas.

Am I the only one struggling with this? And if I'm not, how do you handle this? I need some fresh perspective I think.

You are so right! But I'm afraid, there is not much we can do. We can make custom walls for custom buildings, but all the rest is 4 m high. And if we cheat our way around the 4 m path (doing the little trick with the queue), visitors may get stuck there more often than not. :(
