Bulk passenger missions suggestion

I agree with the issue that bulk missions are excessive, but was wondering instead of completely decreasing pay, turn the missions into multiple hop missions example pickup passengers in Sol they go to Quince, passengers act the same as cargo on the weight affecting ships performance and jump range, then have more then just one enemy chasing you. That away people can do high paying missions but they take longer and have a higher risk to them.
