Bulletin Board displays Allegiances for missions

I find I forget or become confused over which allegiance factions have when in the Bulletin Board as so many share bits of their names with others across the galaxy (jets, purple, dragons, etc.) so I end up wasting time by going back to the System Map to try and memorise them all or resort to pen & paper. This can be rather tedious and frustrating, and it is important at times to know allegiances before accepting missions.
.
I would like to see either colour coding or some simple text by the faction names. The latter would probably be easy to implement and be of more use to those people who are colour blind. On the other hand the former could be extended to use within the System Map which, although not absolutely necessary, could speed up selection of suitable systems when hunting for one with a high ratio of one's preferred allegiance. By this I mean that it is quicker to scroll down the list of factions looking for a specific colour rather than picking out the allegiance text and totalling them up. If I want to rank up in a Major Faction via missions it would seem sensible to go to a system where most of the Minor Factions have the preferred allegiance, as then more beneficial missions may be available to me.
.
If using text I would suggest suffixes of [A], [E], [F] & (or [ALL], [EMP], [FED] & [IND]), or if using colour coding I would suggest using the same colours as used in the GalMap, although the highlighted BB mission may need its brightness altering to retain a decent level of contrast (yellow text on a bright orange background is not ideal).

Uhm.... if you haven't changed keyboard keybind, you can just hit '4' followed by 'e' and you can see the system factions easily. They also say their major faction allegiance in that screen. If you changed stuff, look at the right hand screen in your ship and flip the page to the right by one (from the default screen showing your balanced, insurance, faction relations, etc).

I've yet to find an instance where consistent color association has turned out to be anything less than all kinds of spectacular.

You're right in that I can use the Reputation screen in the Systems Panel but it still involves moving away from the BB missions list to scroll up and down a block of text to find the information I need, thus wasting my time. Having said that, once I'm settled in a system I'll use it more frequently, but as I keep moving around I'll still need to use the System Map because it isn't just the system I'm currently in that matters, but also the surrounding ones (i.e. their faction allegiance breakdown, station placement, facilities, etc.). If I was staying in one area for a longer period this would be less of a problem, but old habits die hard.
.
My point about needlessly wasting time still stands. We have another area in the game which also requires going back-and-forth between screens but at least that is like a mini-game in itself and that is outfitting (trying to squeeze every bit of power available for the chosen configuration), which can be fun. The BB isn't like that, though. If I had an eidetic memory I wouldn't mind, but I don't. Imagine if local elections were held daily, or every purchase required that a questionnaire or survey be completed beforehand. Now imagine that the party affiliation/manufacturers were omitted from the voting slips/surveys. Not a problem, all the information you require is provided on sheets three & four of that pad hanging on the nearby wall. I'd have to question the logic of making things needlessly & annoyingly complicated.
.
I recently posted on a thread about expanding the missions available (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=173365). If that ever gets introduced then I'll certainly want to know allegiances up front for missions offered from, say, 100+ LY away without having to look it each and every time.
.
Having lived with my original suggestion for a while, I've decided that I prefer the 3-character mnemonic the best. Perhaps it could be used for stations in the SysMap too and save a line of text in the pop-up.
