OK, so we all know that to speed up the process of acquiring missions on the Bulletin Board one has to log off/log on multiple times. Either that or wait for what is it 5 minutes (maybe more) for the board to refresh? How about a simple refresh button on the Bulletin Board? While increasing the efficiency of the game play I suspect this might also reduce some server/client issues with all the constant log out/log in's occurring.
Some missions are time restrictive in which the 5 minute wait inhibits the player from accepting additional missions to increase profits and trade rank. Thus the low mission time and the BB wait are in conflict with each other.
Impact on market influence by the players? Negligible as for the most part this is what is occurring now.
While the "reality" aspect of the game suggests the 5 minute wait it really serves no beneficial purpose if the players are not going to actually wait. It's a busy universe out there with places to go and cargo to deliver. Waiting an hour for a dozen 5 minute BB refreshes really slows down the pace of the game to a crawl. For now log out/log in to do the same thing in 10 minutes resolves this...but it's wearing out the Hi-Hat down button on that expensive joystick!
