Bump from No Man's Sky Debacle?

Has anyone noticed the significant boost in new players since No Man's Sky came out? I wonder how big the bump is statistically... it's a shame NMS was a bit of a scam, but at least it seems to have turned a bunch of new people onto E.

I doubt it's all new players - some, a friend of mine for example, was so disenchanted by waiting for the promise of No Man's Sky that he just had to satiate that itch by getting some time in Elite.

Displeased NMS players trying out other space games will be one of the few positives of the fallout from NMS's issues its the negative stuff we should be worried about
