Bumping into character model

After trying to play a bit earlier, I realize that I keep moving into my character model as I move in my chair (the real one). I am using an HTC Vive.
Is that just me or you are best not moving?

You can assign a button to recenter your camera in the options menu. Reset the position when you are sitting comfortably in your chair.

Press yourself back in your chair when hitting the HMD reset, then you move a bit forward normally and do not see the model. Make sure you are in your normal gaming position before resetting.
