I have finally found the nectar of the gods.

Guys... This stuff... If you like your drinks for taste, do yourself a favour and try it now!

Remember, savour and sip. Don't chug. Serve ice cold.

I've been trying to find a good root beer that's available in UK shops for a while now, you may have just convinced me to take a detour home to pick some up [praise]

It's an Australian brew, made in Queensland. It's very high quality. You should be able to buy from Amazon Groceries, too!

I got mine in ASDA. Think Tesco sells too. About £4.50 for four 375ML bottles. It's worth the premium. I found my new Sunday drink.

If you're after something cheaper for the week, try Carter's. Not actually real root beer if I'm correct, but the taste is on point. £1.65 for six cans.

As you can tell, I like soda.

Also available in Waitrose, I believe.

Yeah, it's been available in Waitrose for years. I remember walking from sixth form one sunny day to buy a few bottles.

Tesco used to sell Bundaberg ginger beer fairly widely, but I rarely saw the root beer there. The ones around cambridge do seem to sell a US root beer now, though (as well as a black cherry cream soda).

I'm wondering if the US root beer and black cherry cream soda would be Henry Weinhard's, the best root beer I've ever had in the US.

Seeing as devs are here, can we have root beer added as a commodity?

Haha. It's more widely available in Scotland than down south. I remember discovering root beer in a US specialty shop in Denmark many years ago! A revelation!

Bought a bottle up at Garsons the other week Uni.... loverly stuff, the misses said it tasted medicinal but I love the anniseedy/liquorice kinda taste. [wacko]

I'm seriously considering renaming my Cobra to the Bundaberg.

I decided to give the ginger beer ago, seeing as I had the cash spare.

Hot damn this stuff is good!

I love the ginger beer and sarsaparilla, not sure if you get it outside of oz but they make a pineapple dink as well which is awesome

If you really want to go Aussie then bundy ginger beer mixed with bundy rum = dark and stormy (bundy is Australian for Bundaberg). They used to sponsor us with rugby this was the drink of choice at the club

also the mascot for Bundaberg is the bundy bear. This also would be a good name for your ship
