Buying and selling ships

I have never remembered to check, but has anyone noticed that if you buy a ship with the [FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif]Li Yong-Rui discount and sell it at a different powers station do they take the selling tax from the price you paid or the price at that station?

I.e buy 1,000,000 ship - 15% Li Yong-Rui discount = 850,000. Sell ship 1,000,000 - 10% selling tax = 900,000 = a bit of profit??[/FONT]

The price you paid. When you buy modules from Li-Yong-Rui systems and sell them in other non-discount systems you get the price you paid for them.

This was patched long before I started playing. You lose 10% of your puchase price when you sell a ship. Modules sell for exactly what you paid for them.

I didn't realise you got a discount on modules as well, thought it was just ships.
Wish I had taken my Python back there when I upgraded it now

Sell all your modules then repurchase to make some money back

Just don't sell/buy at the same station otherwise the cost won't change.
