Buying ARX for a friend (on Steam)

You can't transfer ARX or buy them for someone else. So I think the only option, since they play on Steam, would be to gift them the Steam credits and let them buy the ARX.

I've seen a few threads about problems buying ARX on Steam and them not showing up - is that all fixed now?

These posts about Steam ARX do show up from time to time, I have never had the problem. Also, even if you play on steam, you can still buy ARX on the frontier store (I just did that recently). But that doesn't solve the gifting problem, of course.

My experience: Everytime I bought ARX on Steam it was fine. Sometimes it takes half an hour or so for them to show up.

Last time I bought Arx on Steam and it didn't show up, it was because I didn't use the Steam Log In on the launcher. So if it doesn't appear, log out of the launcher and use the Steam Log In button. Failing that, make sure your Frontier account is linked with Steam; failing that, contact support.

I am not sure it ever will be entirely fixed as a lot of the time its just down to the fact the various servers take time to sync that you own those assets...………
