Buying/gearing a python

Right now I am in the process of saving up for a python. What I am wondering is how much cash should I plan on needing for the initial buy plus half way decent starting gear. I plan on setting up it mainly as a trader, but with the ability to do RES fighting as well. I want to make sure I have a comfortable buffer of cash, because I don't want to sell my vulture and type 7 only to end up screwing myself up in the long run.

I'd say about 90 mil.Add 22mil if you want Reinforced Hull.
