Buying Gift Using Arx

Is t possible to use my Arx to buy something for a friend? Is that option still available to us, or has Arx gotten rid of it entirely?

I assume that you can buy ARX using money as a gift for a friend but I doubt you are able to buy cosmetics using ARX as a gift.

However it seems that the gifts are only available on selected products (On the store's home page)

And when I click on the link, there are no products that can be gifted.

But I may be wrong

Still, I have to give Frontier credit. Most gaming companies have obscene numbers of failures, but you can be sure their advertising and sales work.
Frontier is at least consistent.

Actually, you can't

I 'won' a survey where the prize was Arx, but when the other person tried to arrange it there wasn't that option. After contacting support we were told that there isn't any way to gift Arx. Also you can't gift a Steam voucher to buy them as Arx are bought direct, not through Steam

Not yet possible. What a shame. Giving/receiving game extras to/from friends was a really nice thing! I gave the Imperial Cutter ship kit to Kyron and received the Crypsis white paint from Sidjil as a "thank you". All this is no longer possible. -.-

You can get arx directly from the steam store page but check the price as it's your local currency.

Also if you get arx yourself it's worth going through the hoops and letting steam do the currency conversion as it's cheaper that way.. frontier add a little buffer for the fx transaction and it's more than direct conversion that steam does for you.
