Buying Odyessy, Steam & Mulitple Accounts

So..... I bought my three accounts directly from the Frontier store and not through steam. The game is installed then i simply login at the splash screen depending on which account i want to use..... i dont go anywhere near steam for ED

Just looking to purchase Odyessy, the Frontier website now directs you at steam but elite isn't part of my steam library so how is the install going to work? I have a steam account for other games and i know you can import non-steam games into the library, am i ging to have to create a steam account for each of my three copies and can i get away with paying for the game three times and just installing the first

Not sure how this is going to work

It's not immediately obvious but you can just buy the standalone version from Frontier directly. If you go via the elite dangerous site it'll prompt steam etc. You have to go via frontier's site.

Quite why they didn't just offer all options from the ED site isn't clear. Most people will Google elite dangerous, so they'll end up getting it from steam or epic. Perhaps fdev prefer that.

Yeah, surprising number of people don't think to look on the site where they have existing accounts...

And the website not have a link is dumb.

Gonna be interesting after a few months when they start discounting on Steam, but not on their own store...

I've done the same, just log in to the Frontier Store with the email associated with a particular account and buy Odyssey.
Two of 3 done already, the 3rd I'll likely do next month or March.
