I just got interdicted, flipped around and saw the guy was clean. I was wanted for accidentally striping an npc (a wanted npc at that). Should I be able to defend myself in this situation or are my choices run away r take the 50 million buyback (ok 32 mil, I exaggerated) right up the ole kester?
And what if I had been clean? I know that in the past, when I interdicted a clean npc mission target I became wanted but when interdicted by an NPC, while clean, the NPC remained clean...and when I fired I became wanted. I distinctly remember feeling like I was being cornered, coaxed or encouraged to become a criminal
Another thing...it appears that accidentally pinging an wanted yet unscanned NPC’s shield, in solo play, with a single round, is effectively the same as the premeditated murder of a clean cmdr in open play. I appreciate the effort you’ve put into solving the seemingly unsolvable c&p predicament, but imho this doesn’t pass even the most rudimentary of common sense sniff tests. I’m not gonna begin to propose anything because the subject is too charged. I will say that it seems like the line is just too thin, and if so I would like to encourage you side against the griefers n gankers, who’s addiction to the high of forcing themselves on other commanders isn’t something that should be encouraged, except for in arena play. Personally I would like to be able to participate in a CG, in open play, without having to worry about some pathetic little tool constantly stalking me. Hell, Ive even gotten a psn jerk session audio message from someone, with the caption, “open wide” after they blew up my corvette, unprovoked. It was horrible and humiliating, didn’t play again for months...and I certainly hope that isn’t “what ur going for here”. Yes, I reported them...Jesus, could u imagine if a child got a message like that..., makes me nauseous.
But I think u just need to pick a side.
