C3/G Beam Laser

Hello commanders, I'm on day three on the hunt for C3 Gimballed Beam Lasers. Any leads so far have been unsuccessful. If you see any please do share, the wiki has proven to be useless. Thanks in advance.

They appear at random in stations, so if it is there for me it may not be for you. Keep looking and they will appear. I spent two days doing what you did then gave up, then they were there.

Set your galaxy map "map mode" to show high tech systems, pay attention to the population (the bigger the better).

In principle that works, but I was still looking round for ages in my local areas, gave up and decided to head towards where I knew they existed.

Those weapons are typically found at high tech systems with high population typically 50 mill. up.
I have found this to be true 95 %.

I feel your pain!
I've been looking for a week now for these. Still no joy.
Visited countless systems and stations (mostly high pop / high tech worlds).

I think they are sold out in the galaxy.... :-/

Try LHS 2925 and LHS 2931. I was able to buy them there, but it was a while ago.

From what I have seen they are not always available (rare-ish) at any station.

You may not always find them in a station where someone else saw one. If you are determined it may be worth running a circuit of stations where they have been spotted until you find them.

I think Beam Lasers were nerfed with the last update, i used to have 3 class 3 gimballed beams on my python and they were great. Since the last update(or maybe the one before) they overheat very quickly.
