Cable Cars don't work

Ok twice now I have destroyed my cable cars and rebuilt them and it still does not work. The first time Guests would enter the Que stand in line and then never board the cable cars. Finally I tried exiting the game and re-entering and now the guests will board the Cable cars up to a point but the cable cars will still never move. They just sit there in the cable car and it does nothing The ride will not start. I was having a fair bit of fun with the game before this point but now its starting to look like some major features simply are not working. Might be time to take a break from Planet Coaster 2 for a few weeks.

This is EXTREMELY frustrating to me because I just went to the trouble of Building a Mount Olympus section of the park and did a crap ton of work on it and guests NEED the cable car to get to it and so now almost my entire park is effectively broken.

The Cable Car seems to have some issues currently, yes, its frustrating.

Also, even if you get it to work in your specific use-case, you can expect to see the "Guest are desperate" message a lot because of AI issues when there is no Path to the Park Exit :(

Here is an interesting tidbit Ive learned from looking at other peoples parks in franchise mode.

You can put park entrance/exits anywhere you want in your park, even in the middle of your park somehow people can magically enter and exit. I guess I could have one on Mount Olympus in my park and say the gods magically transported people there. Or perhaps in another situation you could build a building like a Hotel inside your park and say they are exiting and entering from the hotel.

But either way something as basic as a cable car not working kind of kills the game for me.

It was a bit finicky for me as well, but seems to be working fine now. Looks great in the game I might say as well.

My problem with the Cable Car is I can never place the end(2nd) station,the wheel,or the other thing,is always red and says "this spot is obstructed".My Butt it is obstructed.

Can't you use the Monorail? Put it in "Shuttle" mode,maybe.

My theory of the problem, based on my observations, is that the cable car works when you have the same number of people getting on as getting off. Basically, what I think is happening is that the ride moves on demand rather than being in constant motion, so you can easily end up in a situation where the station is full of empty cars but no riders waiting, leaving the guests on the ride in limbo. The same thing happens with multi-train coasters sometimes too, despite my attempts to fix it by fiddling with the options in the operations tab.
