Just read a thread on the main discussion about a commander "white knighting" around a system to try and help out.
Suggestion - give us a comm option to broadcast a distress signal which would pop signal source (identified this time) on anyone's hud in system. So...you might get help, you might get more pirates, depending who responds.
There would be an option to turn off the alerts if you don't want to know if a poor helpless noob is being stamped on.
