Hi, I'm CMDR Halle, or LTHalle as I go by on Youtube and several other sites. I make music videos as a hobby. I've been doing it for almost 5 years now, seriously for about 2 years, and I like to think I'm pretty damn good at it. For the longest time I've wanted to make a video to this beautiful game, but I lacked a song that I wanted to put it to, and I thought 3 minutes of cockpit views would be quite boring after a while. However, with 1.2 out for a few new ships as well as the fabled external ship view, as well as my discovery of the song "Dangerous" by Big Data, I believe it's finally time. So, why am I posting this call to arms with no video to show for it?
Simple, I need community help to secure all the footage I need.
I've always favored a high intensity editing style, and rarely focus on one clip for more than a few seconds. This means that I would probably go through more than 100 clips in the course of a 3 minute video. Normally I might buckle down and go about recording, but there is another issue: I lack ships. I lack the conviction to trade, and as such I can only afford ships up to the Vulture. Naturally I'd like to showcase a wide variety of ships in this video, which means I need outside assistance.
WHAT TO DO:
If you want to help me out with this video, I can offer you my sincere gratitude and a place in the credits section after the music video itself is over. If you have clips, or the capacity to record them, shoot me a PM on this site and we can set up an email exchange or other way to get the files to me. Any amount of clips will help, whether it's two or twenty.
WHAT I NEED:
-Frameshifting in different ships
-Docking in different ships
-Taking off in different ships, external and internal views
-Combat in different ships, external and internal views
-Lots of clips of enemy ships exploding (preferably big ships), viewpoint doesn't matter here
-Pretty viewpoints in either viewpoint, ship type matters less here
-General clips of ships in flight, external
Unfortunately there's little room for trade, since while that's a big part of the game it doesn't make for very exciting footage. If you want to throw in a clip of making a profit on the sell screen then sure, I might be able to fit one in.
WHO I AM:
Understandably no one would want to throw time away supporting someone who makes low quality stuff. Here is a link to my youtube channel:

Note that it's in the style of Kinetic Typography, whereas this would be a more traditional music video, but it should at least show that I know my way around an editing program (After Effects, in this case).
As a final note, hopefully this belongs in this forum. It's related to creating a piece of fanwork for the game, though it doesn't actually have any fanwork from the game in it, so I'm not sure where it would go. If it's in the wrong section feel free to move it or give me a heads up! Anyway, since I see a lot of people putting up gameplay videos, hopefully there's a vast workforce to help me out here!
