President Hudson's office contacted me this morning. This is a sad day in the Federation. There has been a terrorist organization who call themselves The 13th Legion, they have launched an assult against the People's Navy initiative.
Captain G.C. Richards, who is overseeing construction of the new ship, issued a brief statement to my office.
"The 13th Legion has proven today why the People's Navy initiative is paramount to our safety. It will bring a new found strength to the Federation, and keep our boarder safe from these Imperial thugs."
The new Farragut Battle Cruiser is essential to this initiative. It will allow the People's Navy to protect our boarders and keep us safe against further Imperial assults. It must be completed at all costs.
The Earth Defense Fleet will answer the call. We are assembling forces to combat this Imperial terror cell. We will not allow the peaceful people of the Federation to be victims any longer!
If you are in Beta Hydri, please seak out our protection wings. We will escort you safely through the system.
We are spearheading security in Beta Hydri. Along with allied Federation forces, we will protect the people, and ensure this project is a success!
