Calling All Explorers - Need Help Identifying This

I took the photo below, about 25LY from Eta Carinae. The galactic core is behind me and this is kind of looking south/south west (yes I know there is no "south" in space) on the map in it's default view.
I started heading in that direction and after about 1000LY I can no longer see them. Might be because I am slightly above or below them now.
So, any ideas at all?

They might be a string of very bright O class stars. It's a little hard to tell on my laptop screen though.

That looks similar to NGC 7822 but without the nebula.

Those are the Siren's song, aren't they? I haven't seen this particular string, but usually see similar patterns when approaching a nebula. They definitely take me off course, looking to get close to these gems. Lagoon nebula had a similar string, but many of those were a mix of O and B stars. Fun to "surf" along and explore. Hope somebody can pinpoint these for you. Safe travels, CMDR!

There is a similar sort of grouping of O-stars around the Heart and Soul nebulas. IC 1805, I think. It does look a tad weird from a distance, almost like a graphics mistake, but they are open clusters. They are worth a look since some of those O-star systems may have black holes.

NGC 7822 looks very similar. You're looking at a string of O class stars. Figuring out the true vector to get to them is easier said than done, but I promise you can go see them up close!

Thanks for all the replies so far. I am going to keep heading in that general direction and hopefully I will find something interesting. If anyone wants, I am happy to share the location if I do get there.
