Apologies if I am not understanding what you meant here, but you need to make sure that you launch the game using the Horizons option. That module will automatically be on every ship, but if you launch the base game, it won't be there.

Actually you can sell the Planetary Approach Module. I think it has some (miniscule) weight or power consumption or such ... or it can be sold by mistake.

Hi fellow commanders. I came back to ED after a very long hiatus ......

With my fantastic 14ly jumprage as you can imagine im really eager to get into something else. I am hoping my cartographics help from a credit standpoint, but I dont remember enough about the game to know if I can land. If I cant and there is no shipyard I can interact with I might be amoung the stars without a paddle. Right now im in the middle of space hobbling along with my hauler and a fuel scoop.

Why not just do a clear save and start afresh? It doesn't take long to get back to the level you are at (credits wise) and you know a lot more then when you first started. I do clear saves every now and then and quite enjoy the progression (though re-opening each Engineer is a bit of a pain).

Yup! Must have been what I had done at a previous station before venturing out so far, prior to quitting. I did launch in Horizon mode, but my ship definetely did not have the module, as checked with my internal modules screen. I did make it out and am now the proud owner of an MK IV.

Doing some misc missions to get used to combat and the controls again and making some credits. Eventually my end goal is a FDL. After I obtain that, ill probably go for colonia again!
