Camera: How hard would this be to impliment?

We've all by now had a go at the debug camera. Looked around our ships. And thought "Sweet!" It's a pain to use though, right?

How about instead of manually moving it there are number of pre-positioned points? Let's say offset the camera position from each hardpoint by 50 or 60 meters or so, and have the camera randomly flip between each position every 5-8 seconds. Perhaps even have one camera take up position around 800 meters in front of the ship, slightly offset, and keep it static in position but focussed on the ship for a flyby.

Think of all the youtube vids you'd get!

Especially of you could fly the ship while doing this, and then get awesome footage of you smashing into the station wall or a Type-9 on it's way in or out because you can't see where you're going. :D

I like this, you could even keep up with realism and make it so damaging a ships sensors will black-out the extra cameras. For a proper third person view one could assume a small drone is mass-locked or tethered to the ship in some means wirelessly sending data to the ship computer to provide such a view as well.

I personally would just like to be able to zoom out that little bit further on the bigger ships. Possibly also a movement increase, moving the external camera at the moment feels like im trying to lift a sack of sand.
