Hello,my first forum,played Elite since October.First,amazing beautiful space simulation,and i played the original Elite on the Atari ST.A huge well done to the team,and more to come.Now the camera again excellent,but please one button to access,And the most important,starting with REAR VIEW,not forward view,to give you the feeling of accelerating away from a Star,Planet or Station.Once again "THANK YOU" to the team and all of you who support it.

Well all you have to do for your first point is simply to change the keybinding yourself. I put it with SpaceBar.
For the second point, forget it- this debug camera is just a stopgap solution while the proper external view system is developed.

Not sure which item to bind you where referring to. Please, elaborate on that.

Anyway, I came to this forum to suggest the same thing. A rear camera (or a side mirror, like a car) would be awesome!

What O.P. wanted was to use the external camera with one keystroke:

All you have to do is rebind the control "Debug External camera" to one keystroke: I use spacebar.

Thanks for the reply, i bound the camera to C but then you have to press Enter,so two keys, am i wrong? anyway the camera is excellent,not sure what you meant by press enter now and then,but thanks for the info.
