Camp Cretaceous DLC

If so, I imagine it being plausible being for around the time of the show's final planned season: Airing date or forward without going too far. Just so that anything that may be planned for it can announce and release in a cohesively manner without much (if any) major spoilers or anything like that beforehand.

New dino species, I don't think so, except maybe whatever this E750 thing is.

Although, I like to imagine a cartoon looking Cabot Finch in a hypothetical CC theme campaign.

"Bumpy" skin for ankys.
bumpy skin is the woodland skin for ankylosaurus

I suspect you may be red-green colour blind. I assure you, most people would get a kick out of it.

Season 3 is looking to be pretty close to the end of our 3 years of support (Swrve reckons late May based on the third junior novel), so I wouldn't expect much, if anything in terms of an update, simply due to any significant changes probably taking longer than half a month to properly fix afterwards.

In any case, it would be nice maybe to have a juvenile Ankylosaurus as a neotenic variant that never grows up (essentially its own species), though I can see how there might be problems with a cute mascot getting the Homalocephale treatment.

There is no explicit confirmation from Frontier saying JWE will only have update support for 3 years after launch. The closest official thing I've been able to find is Colin Trevorrow saying he would like to see what it will be like in 3-4 years from the time he visited Frontier for a livestream with former community manager Steggs, and what he said means absolutely nothing at all in regards to how long the game will ONLY have update and DLC support. Swrve, FYI, I consider mostly extremely naïve, so I recommend being careful with what he shares despite his good intentions.

Would be great. Watching the show with my kid the other day i noticed how far we've come in animation, the dinos in CC are so detailed and much better looking than those in the original JP movie.

Well, most of them are the same models from the Jurassic World movies. The original models are a bit mixed in my opinion. The main dinosaur thing I feel it falls short on is the movements of the animals at times, like the Parasaurolophus in that herd scene at the beginning of season 1 and bumpy when keeping up with the kids in that shipping containers scene of season 1.

I do recall it being from sometime before release, but yeah I've never been able to find it again (it was followed by saying they weren't going to slouch on it, if that's more or less what followed in that livestream).

Assuming it isn't the case (an extra year), then season 3 likely wouldn't be the time to do stuff, seeing the series would almost definitely continue beyond it.

I do agree on Swrve generally, he does tend to go for anything & over-hype the audience, though in this case the timing for volume 3 of the junior novelisation seems pretty solidly the 1st of June across all stores that have an entry (Penguin Random House, Target [American], Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google books' digital copy & Indigo to list the first page of results), so an initially intended launch of season 3 around then seems somewhat likely, even if it's not the 28th of May specifically.

Ah yes, yes you're right. I was referring to the 1993 original Jurassic Park movie though, but definitely the variety of animations are very lacking.

nah the og jp dinosaurs had a realistic animal feeling i like jwcc beacuse it also makes them like animals but some of the scenes are just mad unrealistic like the scawny red head kid surviving a carno attack that long.

You guys aren't understanding my comment, I'm strictly talking about the CGI, the special effects and animations. Look at the detail on the dinosaurs in this game and in C.C. and compare them to the dinosaurs in "Jurassic Park" (1993). Not their behavior, not the storylines or how realistic or not they acted, the simple detail in the models.
