I am only on 'Just the Thicket' scenario of the game but I feel like I'm encountering things which just make the game unplayable (from a campaign perspective).
1. I built a wild wooden mouse coaster - The gusts queued but the ride cycled empty when open
2. Id built a Food court with 3 food and 3 drink in it. I then get the objective build one more food facility and then after that build one more drink facility - One more than what? Feels like im penalised for not knowing what the objective is beforehand instead of being allowed to be forward thinking. I tested this by restarting the scenario and having 30 shop and drink facilities before this objective comes up (at least 2 of each shop available) and still I was asked to build 1 more food facility.
3. I restarted the scenario due to the wild mouse issue and put down a standard wooden coaster instead. I was quite close to the boundary but not over it at any point but there will still places it would not let me put track down even where I was not right up to the line of the boundary.
4. Once I completed the wooden coaster it had taken all of my budget and a loan to build, it was the only ride in the park, guests absolutely refused to ride it unless it was free. They would not even pay 0.50 to ride it. They did have to pay 5 to get in and I get there's balancing between what guests will pay and what you can charge but that seemed a bit off to me.
5. I tried to put some shops down against the sloping paths and it totally messed them up so the guests could not walk down them. I tried to fix it with the pathing tools but found it impossible. I deleted all of the path and tried to rebuild it myself but found areas where it kept saying about intersecting terrain even if it was on a flat bit. I smoothed a large area on the floor and used the stamp tool and still got the intersecting terrain message meaning a random section could not be filled in.
6. Some of the trees could be deleted but some couldn't in what seemed a really arbitrary way.
General feedback
Seems to be a limit on amount of trains and cars on any of the rides even if I have a longer station or block section I don't seem to be able to add more than 2 with maybe 2 cars each or the most I was able was 5 of one car each.
I find the edit mode and construction mode a little odd, I don't really see why we need both of them, there's things you need on both but I get no value from having 2 options to achieve the same thing.
When using the power heatmap it is useful of course to see where the power will be going when placing the distributor but it makes it difficult to see where exactly its being placed, I ended up placing one on the actual coaster track.
I find it really hard to tell what the pathing tool is trying to tell me when im placing out a path with the line builder in terms of when im at ground level, when im going flat after an incline or decline and generally understanding where the path is in 3d space. Also having to go to the demolish tool to remove path, or the multi select tool is annoying vs being able to right click on it when in pathing mode.
Overall it just feels like the games fighting me more than its fun to play at the moment.
