Oh so it didn't have to complete and I still got the paint job? I didn't realise that, so that is good news.

Thankfully I'm off work sick at the moment so I can check now.

EDIT 1: I can't see the paint job (I finished in the top 25%) but maybe it's a bit early. I'll check later.

EDIT 2: A relog got me the paint job so I'm happy now. :)

I guess this is the first CG I've participated in that hasn't completed. One learns something new every day.

Yep, reaching Tier 1 counts as the CG succeeding. The tiers above that often just provide increased CG credit rewards, although sometimes extra rewards are linked to achieving higher tiers e.g. the Caustic Sink Launcher CG last year:

Tier 2: Top 25% will receive 1 Caustic Sink Launcher
Tier 3: Top 25% will receive 2 Caustic Sink Launchers
Top 50% will receive 1 Caustic Sink Launcher

Darn, i just didn't have enough game time this week.
Now my Krait Phantom is still in at Sinuefe NL-N-c23-4 with a hull full of relics.
I guess i'll have to just sell them to the highest bidder.

The quantity required to complete the CG was a lot lower for the Unclassified Relics. Sad I didn't get my Cutter skin but I'll take the Federal Corvette one no problem.

I like the idea of having on-foot interaction like this being part of it. Sadly I didnt have time to participate in this CG but the ship paints look great.
