I have an X52 Pro not a X55, but I've used the exact setup referenced in the post OfftheRails linked since around launch, and I'm really happy with it. Very easy to set up, very comfortable and durable.

i find the extra pivot helpful in getting them into just the right angle.

I have 2 of mounts Ravenov linked to. They work great with my X55, the only thing I had to do was drill through one of the pivot plates and lock it off with a nut / bolt as I found no end of tightening stopped the throttle from rotating the mount.
