Can Enhanced AX Missiles kill Banshees?

They can, but probably only one or two rounds will hit it at a time (ships just don't have the convergence required for ground targets) and it will take a bunch of shots compared to half a dozen well placed hits from a G5 shotgun.
(Once you get close enough to them they're not a threat to a ship at all because they stop firing the EMP missiles.)

Yea, gotta love these indestructible NPCs. I will pass on the "shooting them in the
balls with bird shot" thing. Was expecting something, you know, more fun.
I actually don't think the balls are the weak points, the propulsion doo-hickey at the back is a much more reliable target.
An activity that I find quite a lot of fun..
That's how you do it. It takes a few dozen volleys, but it's simpler than actually getting out and fighting them.

Weapons convergence on the Conda is way better than the
Cutter so it might even be quicker.
