Can I chat to other players?

Simple question, maybe I missed it - If I see another Commander in the game, is there a way to send a chat massage?

You know, I'd like to say "hi" when finally meeting someone in the most remote and loneliest corner of the galaxy...

Yeah it is coming, for now we have to rely on sending morse code with our lights

The NPCs are sending messages sometimes, so seems to be fairly simple to implement - the display function is already there. Hope it comes soon!
