Newcomer / Intro Can I Follow Ship Into Supercruise ?

With the help of two security ships I managed to get a wanted Anaconda down to 5% hull damage, the prize was 117,000 credits. As I was about to finish him off he disappeared I assume going into supercruise. Is there any way to follow him ?

You need a Wake-Scanner: Scan the wake-cloud, then initiate a jump with cloud in target (not tried it yet, but thats how it should work)

Wake scanner only shows where they jumped, if they jumped to hyperspace (another system).
If they jumped to SC, then wake scanner won't show anything. You then need to jump to SC as well, and he should be there somewhere.
