Can I get into trouble for using this?

It seems a useful app, but I don't want any trouble if its going to cause issues with my account, it requires adding a line to the network section in AppConfig.xml.

I doubt it, it probably just cribs your location, other apps do the same.

You should not get into any trouble. Almost all tools out there that need some basic location info from the game will ask you to add that same line. I have it also, as I need it for Slopey's.

But just in case you touch something you shouldn't, make a backup of the file first!!!

The line it asks you to add is the same line (among others) that Support will ask you to add to appconfig.xml for networking problems so that your network logs can be fully scried. (It does vastly increase the size of your netlog files, though.) I shouldn't worry about it, but yes, back it up if in doubt about anything to do with it.

Verbose Mode just tells Elite be more chatty in the info it gathers In the netlog on your PC. No big deal.
