can I gift a ship to a friend?

Hi can i gift a ship to a friend or wing party member. As I'm better off than they and a better ship.would mean better returns for the party.

nope, this stops players being able to sell ships for real money. even if you want to give it away, there will always be players ready to sell ships and would turn the game into a pay to win type game, im sure we all want to avoid that.

All you can do is give them cargo to get them into a better ship quicker, bit of a a pain and takes a while but I have done this for 3 friends and we now have a nice wing going on.

No, you can't "gift" a ship. What you can do, as above, is drop off a load of expensive cargo for them to scoop and sell. Make sure that you abandon rather than just jettison it, or they will get a criminal record for picking it up. Also, make sure that you don't do it right outside a station (i.e. in the no-fire zone) or you'll get fined for littering

I don't get the difference between the procedure for abandoning vs jettisoning stuff. /?
