Can I know where factions are?

Hi, so I am new to the game, I bought bounty equipment and I went out to search people, I found someone who has 11K on his head but in general (not in the star system that he was) and it tells me to take the bounty from PEOPLE'S CO-OPERATIVE, and I have no idea where that is or may be, could anyone help me please? I've seen someone writing about it but the star system that they gave him was very long time from my place, around 40 jumps I would imagine, anyway to find a closer place for that faction?

If it's a local bounty, then it's typically one of the adjacent Systems, often the System Name is included in the Faction name and you can search the Galaxy Map for it.

I've never seen a minor Faction Bounty come from any System farther away than one sitting right next to it (single jump).
Unfortunately, if you travelled alot in the meantime - moving all the way back is unfortunately the only way to redeem the bounty voucher.

In a word....no. If you have been there before, you could look on the system map, but this does not list all factions, just the major one.

You can usually collect bounties from the system you get them in, except if it's a major faction not in control of the current system.

If you left the system, and don't know which system is what, your best bet is hoping someone recognize the faction name or you can find something on Google.

I see.. well I am quite far away by now, could anyone know a few stars that it might be there? and it was an NPC if it counts.

The worst part is that there can be multiple factions called the same thing - so People's Coop is not unique.

If you do suicide to get rid of the message, change into a Sidewinder first to minimize your costs.
