CAN I RUN PLANET COASTER?

Hello! Sorry for the title in capital letters, but if I can get a reply sooner than later that would be nice, as I'd like to buy the EarlyBird alpha before it goes offsale.

So, I'm not aiming for good FPS, I just want to know if I can run the game. I'm aware I am under minimum requirements. It's not the first time. I can run a couple of games under minimum requirements. For refrence, I can run Elite: Dangerous very well, and I just meet the minimum requirements for it. Here are my specs:

DESKTOP PC
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor 3.60GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit
AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series
Screen resoloution: 1440x900

Note: Once again, as I've said, I'm not aiming for the best graphics or performance, as long as I can run the game in Low settings, at my monitor res (1440x900) with a minimum of 10FPS.

Thanks for taking your time to read this. [big grin] [up]

You are slightly below the minimums, your smaller resolution helps though. I think you would be able to run this in low, but that is definitely not a sure thing. [up]

Thanks for the reply. I noticed my CPU and GPU are under the minimums earlier. I also noticed that my GPU's RAM is slightly below minimum, how will this affect gameplay? [wink]

My computer is under the minimum requirements ('not at home so can't give you exacts) but I was able to run PC alpha 1 and 2 on low with a decent fps UNTIL I started getting a decent park it would drop, or if I loaded up one of the pre build parks my fps would be awful.

But I've yet to get on to Alpha 3 as my game just doesn't ever seem to get passed the loading screen. It's a lot of money to spend to not be able to play

Thanks for the reply. I probably will not buy Planet Coaster until release, and I'm saving up for a new GPU. Thanks everyone for your replies.

I am way below minimum requirements as far as my graphics card goes but my Intel quad core i7 seems to make up. The game runs well on low graphics and still looks beautiful even at its worse. I do drop frame rate once I add a lot of detail. I would say buy it and enjoy it. Once you get a better computer you can transfer game data to that computer.

I have I7 quad 32Ram but only a 1.5 GTX660 graphics card, I run it beautifully, I must say the game is brilliant and if you can afford to risk the money to buy alpha early bird its worth it.
