Engineers Can I swap modules if I buy a new ship?

I have a A5 fsd module with a 4 level mod on my asp. If I go to a station and buy a python selling all modules + ship beforehand, can I mount the modded fsd drive back to my new ship? "Buying back" option is applyiable in this situation?

Just the thought of farming all materials back and do the slot machine once again gives me the chills

Yes you will be able to. Do not log out or have a computer crash though or it will be gone. Kornelius (youtuber) said that selling a module means it can be bought back within 8 min, so also don't leave it too long between selling and buying back.

Buying back works with engineered modules. But remember that buy back option only last for 10 minutes and if you exit the game or to menu you will lose the option.

Yeah, be quick! I lost my connection while I was doing it at the w/e. The process is a pita though..storage facility pls FD, asap..thaaaanks!

NB - When you go to the buy back list, your module doesn't have the mod indicator graphic..FD omitted that for a laugh..to make us panic!
